Las Vegas Golf:
This phenomenon has become very popular like the golf sport itself. People don’t visit Las Vegas only to gamble anymore, the dessert has also become host of some of the world best golf courses. Many known course designers, including Jack Nicklaus, have put their fingerprint on a lot of the beauty fairways road. A lot of bigger tournaments have also been played so it is not just a craze, the courses are really that great and beautiful. It is not easy to point any of the clubs to play out but we will mention a few great once in this review.
Bali Hai Golf Club was opened in 2000 and is one of the best. The club is luxurious in every ways. It has a stunning golf course with brilliant white sand bunkers everywhere and thousands of palms. It also has one of the finest restaurants in whole Las Vegas - “Bali Hai” which is amazing. The worst part is you need to get the green fee like 6 months before and we are looking at $300 for a round and no less for eating and living at hotels there. A great place if money aren’t a problem for a golf vacation. More info can be found on vegas.com/golf/
Royal Links Golf Club is another club in the high league. Tiger Woods got the record of 67 strokes and it really takes a good golfer just to get below the 100. You get an amazing feeling of being in another world while playing; the club house is a castle and the store, restaurant and everything els are really overwhelming. You also need to visit Stymie's Pub which has a touch of english pub and it is very cosy and a great place to spend an evening. A funny thing is the holes are inspired of famous holes from British Open rotation courses. We got the "Road Hole" from St. Andrews as 10th hole at Royal Links, the "Postage Stamp" you find in Royal Troon (8th hole) and the 10th hole at Royal Lytham is first hole here. These are just some examples so it is like playing history of golf while playing here. Royal links is a great spot in Las Vegas for a lovely golf vacation.
